Brighton vs Manchester United LIVE: Joao Pedro Clinches Injury-Time Winner in Premier League Clash

Joao Pedro Delivers Stoppage Time Winner for Brighton in Thrilling Premier League Finish

In a dramatic conclusion to the Premier League clash, Joao Pedro netted a stoppage-time winner for Brighton, sealing a thrilling victory over Manchester United.

Amad Diallo had brought the Red Devils level. Still, Erik ten Hag’s side believed they had taken the lead when Alejandro Garnacho scored, only for VAR to intervene and rule out the goal due to an offside infraction involving Joshua Zirkzee, who had touched the ball inches from the goal line.

Earlier in the match, former United striker Danny Welbeck opened the scoring for Brighton at the Amex Stadium. He finished off a well-crafted move involving Kaoru Mitoma, evading Harry Maguire to poke the ball into an empty net from close range.

Welbeck later came close to doubling the lead with a header that hit the woodwork, but United responded with Diallo’s deflected strike that found its way past goalkeeper Jason Steele.

However, Brighton claimed all three points when Pedro scored in the 95th minute, ensuring Fabian Hurzeler’s side remained atop the league standings.
